What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is an effective and natural treatment that teaches the brain to get in a healthy rhythm through a process of measurement and reinforcement. Neurofeedback works that the subconscious level to reinforce your the brain to change it's brainwave. Neurofeedback allow the nervous system to calm and self-regulate, which reduces symptoms such as worry, mood, irritability, focus issues, slowed thinking, etc.* Without the ability to self-regulate, problems like anxiety, depression focus problems, cognitive issues, or physical symptoms can occur. There are over 3,000 peer reviewed studies to support the efficacy of neurofeedback in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, concussion, chronic health issues and pain, learning and processing issues, and a variety of issues.

What is Biofeedback

With Biofeedback, you learn to control your bodily functions like breath, heart rate or skin temperature with the purpose to reduce stress, physical tension, or physical symtoms.* During a session, you’ll be attached to electrical sensors that will help us measure and give information (feedback) about your body (bio). That information and help you learn to control subtle changes like syncing your breath with your heart rate, relaxing muscles or reducing stress. Biofeedback has been around for many decades and is often used to treat anxiety, stress, and pain.*

What is QEEG

A quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG) brain map that helps us measure the electrical patterns in your cortical activity, which gives us a visual representation of the patterning of your brain waves. Your QEEG brain map is analyzed by comparing brain patterns against patterns consistent with known conditions. For example, people with ADHD have a clear cut pattern of too many unfocused brainwaves and not enough focused brainwaves. A QEEG brain map is an objective way to “check under the hood” and paired with a clinical intake, it gives a clear diagnostic picture of what the real issues are. Since we know exactly what each region of the brain does, a QEEG prevents our current standard of mental health diagnostics, which is essentially guessing. *

FAQs

We do not participate with any insurance companies as an in-network provider. If you have health insurance with “out of network” benefits and live in a state we are licensed in, our specialists are happy to provide you with detailed insurance receipts for reimbursable services.

Yes! We have in-person intensives for clients who need a deeper level of support. You can read more about our 1-on-1 program here: https://drroseann.com/brain-behavior-reset-program/

We also offer a wide range of solutions such as books, parent toolkits, and our portable PEMF device for different levels of support. All our products, services and programs are designed to meet you where you are — even if it’s on the other side of the world.

We support children, teens, and adolescents struggling with issues related to the following 5 Clinical Areas:
• ADHD/ADD, Executive Functioning, and Learning Disability
• PANS/PANDAS/AE, Lyme and Tick-Borne Illness
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Anxiety and Stress
• Mood/Behavior/Depression and Autism

Don’t see your symptoms or clinical issues?. We address a variety of issues that result from brain dysregulation that shows up in overstimulated behaviors (such as anxiety, anger, sleep problems, and intrusive thoughts) and understimulated behaviors (such as focus problems, executive functioning difficulties, and slow processing).

We start with a QEEG brain map so we can see what areas of the brain are overstimulated or under stimulated, then Dr. Roseann personally creates a custom care plan that addresses yours or your child’s unique needs.

No.

Many of our clients have multiple or incorrect diagnoses before working with us. This is because mental health conditions have overlapping symptoms, making it tricky to diagnose using traditional methods.

In our 1:1 program, we only use objective data from a QEEG or Brain Check to make accurate diagnoses. Through this approach, we are able to provide the best possible care to the children and families we work with.

Our group coaching programs are specifically designed to support a dysregulated brain and behavior that are associated with a variety of symptoms with or without a diagnosis. By focusing on calming the brain first and pairing it with step-by-step deep dives on how to cultivate behavior change, we guide parents to solutions.

Yes! We specialize in complex cases and we have the resources to help kids and families who want to get unstuck. From OCD to PANS/PANDAS, mood disorder, school refusal or multiple clinical diagnoses, Dr. Roseann and the team provide expert care.

Most of the families we have worked with have tried a lot and while some things may have helped nothing really has moved the dial until they work with us because of our clinical experience and use of brain-based tools.

We take a multi-pronged approach in our programs and use the best of what science has already shown us to work and combine these methods in a manner that you won't find elsewhere.

We start with calming the brain because without a calm brain, a person can’t pay attention, think or take action and the body can’t heal itself either. And we calm the brain safely and effectively with natural solutions that create lasting change.

We work with parents to show you the right behavioral and communication techniques to cultivate change. It is all about shifting what you are doing to reinforce healthy behaviors.

Everything we do is led by Dr. Roseann, a top children's mental health expert with more than 30 years of success in treating the most challenging mental health, behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders with thousands of individuals and families.

You can risk going to a local provider who may not have experience in resolving symptoms and behaviors OR you can get proven, safe, and effective solutions from our dedicated team of experts. When you work with us, your family receives compassionate, expert care that guides you to lasting change.
