Conditions we treat

Our approach is to guide you through the right natural solution, at the right time and in the right order…no matter what your family is facing today.

Every child is unique. No two brains are exactly alike. But whether your child is struggling with behavior, anxiety, or learning, the underlying root cause is often the same—a dysregulated nervous system.

When your child has a dysregulated brain, what you see are dysregulated behaviors. These show up as overstimulated behaviors (anxiety, anger, sleep problems, intrusive thoughts) and understimulated behaviors (focus problems, executive functioning difficulties, slow processing, etc).

Here at Dr. Roseann, we specialize in treating 5 clinical conditions using science-backed solutions that calm the brain AND get to the bottom of the issues —- QEEG, Neurofeedback, PEMF, psychotherapy, nutrition, and parent coaching

Whether your child has no diagnosis, one or multiple, we guide you to natural solutions that are right for your child and family in our BrainBehaviorReset™ Program. Our approach is to guide you through the right solution, at the right time and in the right order…no matter what your family is facing today.

Conditions We Treat

ADHD/ADD and Executive Functioning

ADHD / ADD and Executive Functioning are two related but separate conditions that impact the brain’s ability to alert and plan for the future. ADHD/ADD makes it difficult for children to stay focused and control their impulses, while Executive Functioning issues make it hard for them to prioritize and complete tasks. It's like their brain is running a million miles a minute and they struggle to slow down and see the destination.

Associated conditions and symptoms:

Mood, Behavior, and Depression

It’s normal for children to experience mood swings and occasional feelings of sadness. However, when these negative emotions take over, it may indicate that your child’s nervous system is on overdrive.

Children or teens with depression experience persistent sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in activities they once enjoyed.

Mood problems can manifest as irritability, anger, and emotional outbursts. Behavioral issues include hyperactivity, impulsivity, and difficulty with focus and attention.

Addiction is a common issue associated with these conditions.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD is a pattern of unwanted or intrusive thoughts (obsessions) that lead a person to act out behaviors (compulsions). An OCD child or teen's brain is hijacked by irrational fears, making it difficult for them to calm down, stay engaged, and do even simple tasks. Here at Dr. Roseann, we use a combination of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy and Neurofeedback to calm intrusive thoughts and compulsions.

Due to common misconceptions about OCD, it’s often misdiagnosed as Anxiety.

It’s time we break the stigma. Here are the most common types of OCD Intrusive Thoughts in children:

  • Violent Intrusive Thoughts
  • Religious Intrusive Thoughts
  • Sexual Intrusive Thoughts
  • Magical Thinking Intrusive Thoughts
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

PANS/PANDAS/AE and Lyme and Tick-Borne Illness

PANS/PANDAS/AE is a group of disorders that develop when a child's immune system misfires and attacks their own brain— causing a sudden onset of anxiety, OCD, tics, sleep disturbances, and irritability. Lyme and Tick-Borne Illness is caused by the bite of an infected tick and results in symptoms — such as fever, headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, and skin rashes.

If left untreated, both conditions can cause chronic health problems and disrupt a child's quality of life.

Associated conditions and symptoms:

Anxiety and Stress

Stress and Anxiety affect not just adults — but also kids and teens! These often manifest as excessive worrying, social anxiety, and school refusal. Children struggling with anxiety may complain of physical sensations like stomachaches, headaches, sweating, and trembling without apparent cause. Early intervention and teaching coping skills are key to preventing these symptoms from getting a hold of your child’s life.
