Chronic Fatigue Treatment
Why is Chronic Fatigue on the Rise?
Chronic fatigue is on the rise due to an increase in daily stress, poor diet, lack of sleep, thyroid issues, adrenal fatigue, infectious disease and autoimmune disorders. The Western diet and way of life is having a negative effect on kids and young adults everywhere. As health providers, we do more than just treat the symptoms of these disorders.
We believe in identifying the root causes and figuring out why they happen. Stress and anxiety, infectious and autoimmune diseases, inflammation, toxicity, gut problems, and hormone issues are often seen in individuals with chronic disease fatigue and must be addressed to restore wellness.
Chronic Disease and Mental Health
Chronic diseases and conditions are growing at a rapid rate. At the same time, we have started to link Chronic health conditions and mental health. While we don’t know all the sources of mental health disorders, we do know that chronic disease states and inflammation are some of the largest contributing factors.
How can Neurofeedback help?
Chronic disease states can alter brain wave patterning and functioning. When we identify the dysfunctional areas using a QEEG, we can then utilize Neurofeedback to make direct changes. Through a process of reinforcement, brain wave activity is improved and symptoms are reduced.
