What causes Chronic Pain?
Chronic pain can be caused by many different factors but most commonly result from injuries and underlying disease states, as well as physical and emotional trauma. Pain can occur anywhere on the body and most chronic pain sufferers experience daily pain.
Some children and teens are incapacitated by the chronic pain and others manage to function. Chronic pain always brings on increased stress and can also impact sleep, mood, energy levels, etc.
How can Neurofeedback help?
Depending on the pain source, brainwave activity can be slowed or overstimulated. This imbalance negatively impacts normal brainwave function.
Neurofeedback helps to aid chronic pain sufferers to counteract these waves and teaches their brain to function in a more self-regulated manner.
How can Biofeedback help?
For those with chronic pain, one’s sympathetic and parasympathetic are out of balance. Biofeedback brings your nervous system back into balance.
You learn new ways to control your response to incoming pain triggers by learning how to control autonomic functions. You learn how to relax your body, brain, and muscles – all in an effort to reduce pain.
How can Advanced Bio-Regulation (BRT) help?
BRT is a unique approach to health and wellness that uses Biofeedback and PEMF-based Electromagnetic Technology to help the body better self-regulate, adapt, and heal naturally. The body’s nervous system uses that feedback to reorganize itself and improve its own intercellular communication. This can be used to promote healing, help with muscle and joint pain, improve restorative sleep, and reduce inflammation and more, all an effort to reduce pain.
